I made chocolate cupcakes with chocolate frosting for our Superbowl party, and I placed white chocolate football cupcake toppers on each one. I made the toppers by tracing footballs with melted white chocolate onto wax paper and letting them harden.The concept was cute, but the football structure was too heavy to hold up at room temperature and the white chocolate toppers bent over. In the future when I do cupcake toppers, I will be sure to make them in a smaller design so that they can stand straight up.
Oh well, at least they tasted delicious, so at least it wasn't a total fail :)
No need for the footballs to stand up straight. They look great the way they are. Clever idea.
